Two attractive Victorian miniature stipple engraved portraits of ladies in period costumes, date back to early Victorian era (approximately 1840s). First one reads ‘An original engraving of “Miss Vere” by E.P. Stephanoff/G. Stodart c1840’ while the second one reads ‘An original engraving of “Anne of Gierstein” by W.Drummond/Edwards c1840’. Framed in a gilt oval frame which I believe is vintage 20th Century. Each measures 6 inches by 4.5 inches. In very good shape and condition. Ready to hang.
