A late Victorian 1880s-1890s silver and gold, ruby, old-cut diamond and seed pearl bar brooch. Central ruby calculated weight 0.30ct, based on estimated dimensions of 3.9 by 3.8 by 2.1mms. Total ruby weight is approximately 0.90ct. Estimated total diamond weight is 0.40ct. Length is 6.4cm, Brooch weights approximately 4.1gms.

Diamonds appear bright and well matched. Rubies appear well matched bright, deep moderately purplish red.
